Denver, CO (10/26/2013) – The Colorado Region of the Sports Car Club of America is
hosting the Rocky Mountain Division Road Racing Convention and Awards Banquet
on November 9th, 2013 at Club Auto Colorado.
The ½ day mini-convention will be packed with information and fun starting with
National News, followed by the division town hall meeting and culminating in a
catered buffet dinner. Road Racing Trophies for National and Division Classes
will be presented late afternoon. The Traveling and Major Annual Awards
Ceremony will be held immediately following dinner.
During dinner, Colorado Region will host a special guest speaker. He is a
professional driver with a variety of racing experience, including; open wheel
competition, Pikes Peak Hill Climb, Sports Car Racing, and Rally. He is a 3-time X
Games Gold Medalist and 2-time Formula Drift Champion. His professional stunt
driving credits include Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift, Dukes of Hazzard, Bourne
Ultimatum, Iron Man 2, and the remake of Red Dawn. If you don’t know him from his
impressive resume, then we’re sure you will recognize him from television, as a
